I haven’t seen one of these in forever:

Randomly before class this morning my friend Craig called and said he was going through St. Louis, so I dropped everything and met him at a local truck stop (he was stopping there specifically for gas as instructed by his company). The location is only 5 minutes away so it worked out perfectly!
Craig is a really awesome dude and I’m very lucky to have him as a good friend, oh look I took pictures and shot a small video:
Seems like I’ve been waiting forever for this album to come out on iTunes.
I use to listen to this TAPE a lot when I was a kid. It’s funny to hear the sounds without the typical tape warp sound from the tape degrading.
It’s also interesting that 10+ years later I still know a lot of the lyrics!
The Beatles… Good Stuff !
I think i’ve posted this here before? But it so funny, it’s worth the re-post.
My friend Abegail at work made these from a recipe I told her to make. They are amazingly good! I wanted to put a shout out to my friend for making them and for this awesome recipe.
Here is the recipe: http://amybites.com/?p=623
PS – Deathly Hallow Part 1 is less than 2 weeks away!
Happy Friday! Finally this week is over. Volta Eiffel Sessantacinque!

I finally got a rice cooker. I’ve been thinking about getting one for awhile, however it was not the rice that I was concerned about, it was what to make to eat with the rice.
So I figured an easy “Stir Fry” and Rice would be perfect. It actually turned out pretty good (pictured to the right)!
The veggies could have been cooked a little more, but they were nearly perfect. The rice cooker was also flawless and cooked up some rice in less than 30 minutes.
Whats awesome is I have enough ingredients to do it again sometime this weekend (lunch or dinner).
The major thing I’ve learned is that 2 cups of rice is ALOT of rice. Two carrots is too much carrot (maybe one and 1/2 carrots) and maybe a little less broccoli. The Terraki sauce was also perfect. Finally, I also added red pepper, garlic and a little sea salt.
Would I do it again? Yes, this dish is awesome…Next time I’m adding some kind of chicken.
