I got a little bored today and some how ended up digging my ancient Macintosh LC 575 out of the basement. I really wanted to get the internet working on it, but it doesnt seem to like *something*.
Initially the hard drive was sounding pretty bad, it was grinding a bit and if i’m not mistake I heard the head crash a bit. I didn’t think the computer would work after this. However I gave it a bit of a bump to the side in an effort to resurrect it and that seemed to do the trick. After running it for about an hour, the hard drive seems to be back to normal. I ran Disk First Aid and it said their were errors (no suprise!), and it apparently was able to fix the errors. (yay!)
Still no internet yet though. Oh well!
Updated: After working on it for almost an hour, the internet is just dead!
